Hydro Grow Has Done It Again

Due to popular demand for a low wattage, high output, silent operating light, Hydro Grow LED has developed, it's newest addition to their extensive line-up of products, the ECO and ECO+ LED Grow Lights. These models use 0.5W LEDs in its clusters, and follows the same patented X technology. They are designed to operate between 1-12" above the canopy, and have a PAR output level of 400-600 micromoles at 6" above canopy. Another unique feature on these lights is silent operation. Due to the low wattage used on the LEDs and the incorporation of copper insert heatsinks, these lights do not require fans to ventilated the air. Dispite its lack of cooling fans, the operating temperatures on the ECO line is remains between 80'-130'.

Up until now Hydro Grow customers growing plants that required low to medium levels of light intensity, were left at the mercy of their own "trial and error" to discover the best height above canopy to hang their X lights. They either did this, or relied on the next alternative which was to purchase a competitors Best light and mount it within 12" above canopy and cross their fingers that light could even pull this off. While Hydro Grows X and XPROs lights set the bar for light intensity and penetration power for full sun-loving plants, their only method of lowering the intensity received by their plants is by raising the light higher above the canopy. On the 336XPRO that height could be in excess of 8 ft before you can safely grow lettuce or wheat grass under it. This was obviously not the ideal solution for someone looking for a counter top herb garden, or for a planter of orchids in your home.

Hydro Grow LED has solved this dilemma by the introduction of the ECO and ECO+ LED Grow Lights. Because of the lower wattage LEDs these lights can support growth for up to 30". Although this is considered "low penetration power" by Hydro Grow LED, it is still better than most of the other LED grow lights on the market, even those claiming 5W LEDs (but we won't rub that in...not yet at least).

While the ECO and ECO+ are the ideal solution for vegatables and other plants requiring low light levels, it also doubles as perfect supplemental lighting for your full sun-loving plants.

For the same reasons that these lights are perfect for low light requiring plants, they also can double as vertical wall lighting. The ECO line is most ideal for this purpose because, the units themselves are no wider than 3/4", they include the same spectrum as the more powerful X and XPROs, and they allow foliage to grow withing 1-12" from the surface of the lights. Imagine the possibility in yield when combining the most intense and most effective LED grow lights on the planet (Hydro Grow LEDs XPRO series) with their little brother counterparts (the ECO or ECO+ LED Grow Lights)!!!! THATS ALOT OF YEILD!!!!
